About the CSEET Course

CSEET is the mandatory entry-level test for the Company Secretary (CS) course, conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). It assesses the aptitude of students in business communication, legal aptitude, logical reasoning, and economic and business environment.

Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The CSEET syllabus consists of four papers, conducted as a single computer-based test:

  • Paper 1: Business Communication (50 marks)
  • Paper 2: Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning (50 marks)
  • Paper 3: Economic and Business Environment (50 marks)
  • Paper 4: Current Affairs, Presentation and Communication Skills (Viva Voce) (50 marks)

The test is 120 minutes, followed by a 15-minute Viva Voce for communication skills.

Registration Fees

The fee for CSEET registration is ₹1,000 (with concessions for specific categories), payable directly to ICSI.

  • For May session: April 15th
  • For July session: June 15th
  • For November session: October 15th
  • For January session: December 15th
